New technologies like autonomous vehicles with traffic flow algorithms promise to speed up local transportation. Yet, even the smartest vehicles will falter under the density pressures of traffic and pedestrians competing for the same physical urban space.
Interlinked with overcrowding, city leaders are reshaping urban energy policy to restrain excessive carbon emissions. Cycle infrastructure building is a primary action mayors and city leaders can take to produce immediate climate change results. Presently, Cities Climate Leadership Group (C40) member cities plan to reduce automobile traffic in their urban centers 40% by 2020.
Reallocating street space to bike lanes reduces emission and quickens movement creating hyper-efficient transit networks based upon personal freedom. This new urban infrastructure lets up to six times more people move through city streets than by car or bus alone. More than 59 of the world's biggest cities are now realizing this policy.
The status quo

Yet, 73% of North American city cyclists – from bicyclists to motorcyclists – are dissatisfied with products that fail to support their everyday needs.
Most city-cycles force people to limit and adapt their behavior around stubborn, outdated and poorly engineered equipment originally designed for other activities like road, mountain or beach biking. These products leave modern consumer’s practical transportation needs largely unaddressed.

Accustom to the many conveniences their automobiles provide, local transportation consumers consider today’s eBikes and eMopeds to be expensive toys with a negligible everyday value proposition.
Mainstream families, couples, and urbanites avoid shopping, commuting, transporting kids, goods or a second passenger on these vehicles because they are cumbersome, limiting and unsafe. Without providing for the basic utility needs of modern consumers, these under preforming products will not see a broader adoption by mass consumers as an alternative to the small city car.

Responding to market demands and using the principles of Universal Design, we holistically reinvented the eBike/eMoped around how transportation consumers naturally want to use their vehicle to accomplish their daily errands and tasks.

It blends the safety and utility of a rigid-frame tricycle with the maneuverability and ride-performance of a premium electric bike.
